Milk is no Water, Water is no Blood (2021)

Celestial dance or maybe a hellish battle? Two powerful energies swirl together creating life and sustaining it. One symbolically opened the doors to ‘becoming a woman’, as I wasn’t born as one. The second apparently proves my motherhood, as if having a child didn’t do its justice. My menstrual blood is my pleasure and the source of power, despite of the stigma it received over centuries from society. My milk is my duty, nourishing my offspring, sucked out of my blood to create blood in another human being, preserving life, running forever.
